In my failed attempt to squander around Q- ave selling bolastogs(street food) and tinabog-tabog (rice cakes), I have accepted a new offer–another corporate position that involves suits, blazers, slacks and pumps. Ay caramba!! I don’t know if this is the way that point to financial freedom but o well, living independently does require us to SUBMIT.    

 

Submit as in:

 

1. Pay your dues on time. Lest you want to join the homeless and unfed, skip number one. 

 

2. Be practical. Corporate pumps over Chuck Taylors. Long Sleeves over Vintage Shirts. Blazers over Hoodies. 

3. Stick to the Budget. Even if it means taking long bus rides and bringing your own lunch box to work.

4.  Save Money. Save the world.  We’re no longer 3 year-olds in a candy shop.  

5. Make it Work.  Even if you’re seriously fckd up.
