Life’s a joke. I’m constantly being reminded by that, especially today. You know there are times when you’re having the most awesome day, it makes you think otherwise. It makes you wonder if there’s some divine intervention or some weird phenomenon that makes things all peachy and normal. Then again, you got to think again because uber peachy day can really be a sniper who camoflauges itself into an-epic-failure-what-the-fuck-did-the-do-to-deserve-something-like-this afternoon. When things are going so swell , Destiny enters the picture and screws you from behind turrning your douchebag smile into a lop-sided smirk. Yes,take for example this random guy who was descending the flight of stairs in GH Promenade. He suddenly slips  accidentally throwing his phone (nearly hitting me and Prinz) into the open traffic-ridden street. Also, he got an earful from his bickering mother who said “Ayan! Yan kasi sinasabi ko!”. YOWTCH
My initial reaction was “Oh shit!”. I was actually concerned about the phone getting crushed into gazilion tiny pieces other than the guy getting a concussion. (What??? I’m mean?. IKR).

Seeing that both the guy and his phone survived the epic failure. Me and Prinz burst out laughing. Yeah, until now I’m still laughing my ass off because this is the first time we witnessed such huge display of EPIC FAILURE. It made me realize how ridiculous it was and how that such thing could only happen in the movies. No wait, except that it didn’t.

But then again, Karma is really digital nowadays. It comes around really fast. Life can be funny and cruel at the same time.  So there’s no reason why we should face it with a smug. Embrace CHAOS. Embrace UNCERTAINTY. Most especially, EMBRACE the bitchslapping hands of FATE. Everybody’s got to get some!

Alright. Seems like busting dust balls is what I’ve been doing in quarter four.  And yes, procrastination has gotten the best of me.  I’m actually pinned down by two Herculean projects which needs to be finished by January and February 2009. Yikes!  Sure a part of me slacks but this huge Amazon at my back pushes me to tackle them head on.  However,  Ms. Migraine has been constantly drilling  on my cranium up there and so in times like these… I need my ultimate stress - reliever! I know that somewhere in my passive-aggressive self  lies a scary scary monster waiting to rip bones apart and grind it into saw dusts…….through ARCADE games.   IT’S TEKKEN TIME!!!!

A New Obligatory Christmas Eve Post

Well what do you effing know it’s Christmas eve and I’m such a sucker because I have work.  I’m sorry  Father God and Uncle Jesus. They don’t call me an ingrate for nothing. And I know now how your wrath feels like. Yes I do. I sit here and I cannot sleep because the Jeepers Creepers paid me a visit.  2 Alaxan FRs ain’t doing any good. And so I’m screaming here in pain while a listen to sirens because I think outside there’s a police chase going on (between koreans and the authorities).  I have no effing clue.

re: Moping while on duty

Dear Joycerica,

In the absence of alcohol, let me just make this sweet and simple. Get your act together, girl.

No moping while on duty. Life ain’t short in fact it’s the longest thing you ever ever have. So moping won’t make it easier. If noticed, the smiley in the sky last December 1 has a purpose. The sign you were asking for?? I have no clue. Signs are like so last year (as you would say).

So get up. Get up and do something. 

P.S.

Stop calling your father an Old Fart, Father Abraham, Hitler or Frankenstein. Give him a nice present too.
